Middle Yough Float Trips DO NOT REQUIRE A LAUNCH PERMIT

• Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, bring eyeglass retainer straps, bring water bottle, if you want to bring a lunch, triple ziploc it. Cameras and electronics are at great risk without good waterproof protection.
• Life jackets must be worn at all times while on the river, helmets and wetsuits available.
• Guide Escorted Family Float Trips are available on the Middle Yough.



• More difficult Class 5 World Class Whitewater Action on the Upper Youghiogheny section in nearby Friendsville, Maryland
• Guide Escorted or Fully Guided Rafting Trips on the CLASS III-IV Lower Yough.
• BOOK EARLY TO ASSURE EQUIPMENT AVAILABILITY
• River running has inherent dangers.
  Everyone must sign a liability release form,
  (minors MUST have release signed by parent or legal guardian).
