    Rafting on the middle yough

Guide escorted tours // middle yough

You're the captain of your raft

Let us show you the way. A guide familiar with this river section accompanies your group and shows you the way as well as coaches you through the Class I-II rapids.

Your guide shares some local info on flora, fauna, and history, and spreads out a deli style lunch. A great trip for groups with seniors and small children, and folks with absolutely no river running experience.

  • Who are my guides?

Our Guide Staff members are whitewater athletes. We employ and train some of the best staff the industry has to offer. Our dedication to safety is paramount. Ohiopyle Trading Post staff members are highly trained in swiftwater rescue, rope skills, first aid, CPR, river etiquette, kayaking, rafting and team work. Although styled runs through the rapids hitting every wave is our goal, "Out of Boat Experiences" do occur. That is when you get to see our rescue skills in action.
